West Town Community Law Office is a community based office practicing criminal defense and civil rights law within the Puerto Rican community on Chicago's West Side for almost thirty years. The office focuses on cases of criminal defense, civil rights and domestic relations, particularly representing people who have been abused by the police or because of their race, gender or economic status.

West Town Community Law Office has over 40 combined years experience working with civil rights and criminal cases.


  • Member of the National Lawyers Guild for 30 years. Current board member of the Chicago chapter of the NLG.
  • Member of the National Police Accountability Project specializing in civil rights for people abused by the police.
  • B.A. in Sociology, 1975, Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
  • J.D. 1980, Golden Gate College of Law, San Francisco, California (graduated with honors)
